About Us: Why we created this service. |

It all started a few years ago when a friend of ours, then a costume designer and currently a film director, came down with a temperature of one hundred and three degrees. This person had no way to find a replacement costumer for a shoot the next day, and ended up having no choice but to work with the high fever. We thought that was entirely bogus, and decided to develop a service so that anybody of any job type in the entertainment business could find and hire a replacement. The idea grew from there, and has evolved in to an online social network that's directly hooked in to a jobs engine, and the whole thing is rich-media supported. We're here to make sure you look good online, and we know that superior video and photographic quality are important to Editors, and Actors, and DP's and Producers, and anybody else who would like their reels and headshots to look fantastic in an arena where people are hiring and being hired. Our members can also post audio reels and scripts to their profiles. If you're an employer, you're going to love ACTORSandCREW. We support profiles for over 500 different entertainment job types. You will find Casting Directors looking at Actors, Producers looking at Writers and Directors, Directors looking at DP's, and pretty much everyone looking at everyone else.Beyond that, you can post as many jobs as you like once you're a member. Unlike some other sites, we won't charge hundreds of dollars to post a job.
